End of day 2

Another late night and another hotel. But we made it to Regina so we are still just two hours or so behind the original impossible itinerary.

10 km before we got here, a couple o Canada's finest mounties thought we were just suspicious enough to pull us over to check my license and registration and ask if I had any weapons. Simple enough. Dad pulled the "I'm deaf" card so they ignored him and just bothered me. I'm glad it was just a routine check, but taking off a helmet, face mask, earbuds, riding gloves, all while trying to keep the bike from falling over on the rights shoulder of the highway while pulling out my papers... was annoying enough.

  1. Good thing you did your research on weapons. Hope you found good sleep.

    1. You are quite right! Glad we left the shotguns at home. Not illegal; but probably not worth the hassle.

  2. How did they catch up to you on horses?

    1. Their horses have 4 wheel drive and 5.7L engines. Giddy up, eh?
