End of day 2

Another late night and another hotel. But we made it to Regina so we are still just two hours or so behind the original impossible itinerary.

10 km before we got here, a couple o Canada's finest mounties thought we were just suspicious enough to pull us over to check my license and registration and ask if I had any weapons. Simple enough. Dad pulled the "I'm deaf" card so they ignored him and just bothered me. I'm glad it was just a routine check, but taking off a helmet, face mask, earbuds, riding gloves, all while trying to keep the bike from falling over on the rights shoulder of the highway while pulling out my papers... was annoying enough.

Canadia

At the border! Waiting in one REALLY HOT line of vehicles.

Fueling in Fargo

So I have been getting 48-50 miles per gallon so far. But Dad has been getting something like 35.

Bua ha ha ha ha!

Just kidding, we both have to stop no matter who runs out first. He made some adjustments to try and fix the problem. Changed the fuel/air to a leaner mix and added air to the tires. We'll see how that goes.

Camp 2

Made it. Just getting there, without hitting deer, popping a tire, or overheating... feels good.

Much later than anticipated, but here nonetheless, with five states behind us.

Still Alive

And we finally got to some curvy roads.

Indiana

We just got to Danny's sixth motorcycle trip state: Indiana!

Slow going

Well, we haven't had any major hold ups today (Day 2). But we also haven't gone far. Just finished lunch. It's 3PM and we've only gone 160 of today's 400 miles. Lots left to cover.
